This community is for anyone who is part of or interested in the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. Its purpose is to provide a friendly forum where people may discuss anything related to SFWA or the craft and business of writing science fiction and fantasy.
We are a moderated community with membership open to SFWAns and non-SFWAns alike. All members may make posts and comments. Non-members may comment on public posts. Posting without a LiveJournal login is allowed, but "anonymous" individuals are encouraged to sign their comments. The default post setting is "public". We hope that everyone will help us ensure that there is no reason to change these settings.
Members of the SFWA LJ community who are not clearly identifiable may be asked to make their identities public by a moderator. Failure to do so will result in removal of posting access or being banned from the community.
To this end, please:
- Treat everyone here fairly and with respect. Personal attacks will not be tolerated.
- Strive to remain on-topic.
Off-topic subjects include:
- Posting, snippeting or promoting fiction, poetry, non-fiction or other works.
